I hate these because no matter what I write I'm sitting here thinking, "Don't sound pretentious, don't sound pretentious, don't sound pretentious...". Gah!

Alright, so I'm Taryn. Hi! I took the digital photography course offered at CATO a few years back and have been taking photographs on and off since graduating. I've come back to Model Mayhem because I'm looking to update, refill, and all around just create a portfolio. As I said, it's been a while.

My aim is to work with enthusiastic models who like to chat, make jokes, and have a fun time. A model's comfort and feeling of ease is my utmost priority when shooting and I will nix or burn any idea, thought, or suggestion that could have the opposite effect. I want shooting with me to make you feel sexy, strong, empowered, brave, silly, or whatever else you want that isn't negative. This is art, this is passion, but, most of all, this is meant to be fun.

If you're nerdy to any degree we will get along great. If you're not, no worries! I'm a gigantic pop culture whore and I legitimately get excited to learn about things others are passionate about so I have little doubt we'll be able to find common ground and something to talk about while we shoot.

I am always up for TFP if my schedule allows it. Other than that, I will always ask a model their rates. My focus in building up my portfolio right now is Swimwear, Lingerie, Glamour, Nude, Implied Nude, and Fashion.

Now be real with me...how pretentious was that?
