Hello, My name is Maria, born in UK with Italian parents. I am 55 years old, so would come under the category of mature model.

I have never done modelling before, so this is all new to me. Why I would like to be a value member of the Model Mayhem community, is to show myself and all the other women out there in their 50s that we can still look and feel amazing, free soul and spirit.

After the photo shoot, I sat with a lovely lady and we talked. She said something that made me feel on top of the world. She said that my photos showed a very confident and vivacious lady, that meant a lot to me, proving that a woman of my age can still have that something special and that it is never too late to try something new. I am also learning salsa, so life is good :)

My goals, what I would love to achieve, is to be on the fashion display boards for Marks and Spencers or John Lewis. I know that may be too much to hope for, but it is always good to dream and wish. Advertising anything to do with fashion, promotional modeling for makeup, jewelry, perfume,, bridal (if I'm not too old), glamour, natural, arty. Would really just love to enjoy the experience and generally have fun.
