Growing up I struggled greatly with my physical appearance. I didn't look how society said I should look, I was always "skinny". I spent 5 years apart of the U.S Navy before leaving honorably to finish school. During my career I worked apart of a hospital, I noticed that the times where I was most satisfied with my day was when my patient left my clinic feeling more emotionally relieved than when they first arrived. I then established my page Never Was A Skinny Girl. I want everyone to understand that you are beautiful no matter what you look like. Beauty isn't something that is measured by external qualities, It's not something that you can place into a box with a specific label. My prayer is that we break the labels and stop dictating how we feel about ourselves based on someone else's opinion of our bodies. Eventually I will use my degree in psychology, once completed, to become a life coach so that I can help other people understand they're self-worth.

My style is very eclectic. I love to mix it up, A LOT. I have one child who will also be featured on my page every now and then when we shoot together. I am very easygoing and love to laugh, I always bring someone with me when I shoot with a new photographer. I know a lot of photographers who don't shoot models with stretch marks, I do have them due to my pregnancy. We must agree on what I will be doing. I will then draw up a contract on what we agreed upon for our safety. My main focus is to get great images in a positive work environment. I will protect myself and my images.
