I was a stay-at home wife for the better part of my life. But I always received compliments about my makeup and hair whenever I attended parties or other social gatherings. People assumed I make a living out of it. Unfortunately, I never did. After a turn of events in my life, I began working as a freelance makeup and hair artist in 2015. I wanted to turn my passion into a career and showcase my talent. I established my clientele through social media, in-person networking, and word-of mouth. Unfortunately, that has only provided me with a part-time income. I want to go further than that because I've realized it's an amazing feeling when you help others realize their beauty in a world rocked by low self-esteem. Thus, I am looking to expand my horizons and contribute to platforms such as this one, to improve on my craft. I am grateful for these kind of platforms that give an opportunity for artists of all kind to showcase their talent; and would like to raise awareness of ModelMayhem through my work.
