Born and raised in Oakland, California, Julia Engle Tomczek has a unique and evocative style that fuses a timeless classicism with effortless modernism. Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of cultures, Engle has been an accomplished hair stylist behind the chair since 2000. Since competing in Florence Italy at the World Wide Hair Tour in 2005, she has been on the path of education through Davines, an eco-conscious hair care line from Parma Italy. She is currently on the Davines Artistic Team creating and recreating looks to keep her skills as up to date and fashion forward as possible.
