I am an amateur hobbyist getting back into photography as something to keep me busy when I retire in a few years. I was a very active amateur photographer when I was much younger, with my own darkroom even, but then work, family, etc. came along and it was forgotten. Now I have to learn how to use digital equipment, and it is a whole new world to me. I like not having to worry about the cost of film, though.
I mainly do landscape/nature photography, but I am also interested in fine-art nudes, especially, but not exclusively, outdoors in nature. I am just learning this genre, and I hope that MM is a place where I can hire some local models who can help me improve the quality of my work.
