Hello MM team and community! I'm Ivy Ebanks, a twenty-something freelance model based in Boston and sometimes New York. I began amateur modeling at the age of 12 via photo shoots with friends and family and small, local fashion shows in my later teens.

After high school, I did not believe I could pursue modeling professionally as I do not meet high fashion couture height requirements and thus I spent a lot of my prime time in other industries where I thrived, but either my patience or passion was lacking.

Fast forward four years later to the end of 2016, whilst cleaning my room, I found a journal entry where I asked myself what I want to do with my life and modeling was one of them. Once I realized I had done nothing to work towards my modeling career, I began looking for ways to become more involved in the modeling world. I did a themed photo shoot with a local photographer and long time friend, I joined talent and model call/audition groups on social media, I attended fashion shows and networked and conversed with models and designers alike.

Now, the next step is branching out to other markets country wide such as LA and Atlanta and working with artists in those areas that I can not only learn from, but establish relationships and trade work.
