Some photographers use their camera as a means of documenting the world around them. That’s fine - there is a place for these images in our daily lives. However, that style of photography is not for me… I believe that photography is about sharing beauty, passion, expression and joy. I believe in the credo “if it’s not fun, then why bother?” As an extension of this, I understand that unless I’m fun to work with then why would you bother? I believe that beautiful photographs can only be made, not taken. I’m only part of the equation. Are you the balance?
