Shawna Fitzgerald
Shawna is a single mother of 3 from South Boston, Virginia. Throughout her life she has struggled with weight issues. She made a decision that changed her life; to have a bariatric procedure. This proved to be a journey to test her faith, discipline and self control. What she did not realize is that it would transform her mindset.
Through the weight loss journey, she found her inner beauty. She had thought, as many little girls, of being a model. She never thought seriously about it until she began to see the appearance of plus size models and opportunities popping up locally. She reached to answer a model call for Juicy Body Goddess, a boutique in Charlotte, NC. She was accepted as a brand ambassador and model. Through the application process she reached out to The Gems of HASS Entertainment, a subsidiary of HASS Music LLC. She simply asked one question that would start her on her journey to model. That question was simply, “What can I do to be a model?”
This simple question led to her signing her first modeling contract. To date, Shawna has done countless photoshoots, six fashion shows, filmed her first scene in a movie (Fear to be Brave), and has had two articles written about her in the local newspaper. Her natural curiosity and enthusiasm has brought her to many upcoming opportunities.
