My name is Cristina Ramos and I was a 24 yo Filipino girl who put aside her dreams to fulfill the dreams of her father. My entire life was always planned for me. My father wanted me to become an accountant, even though I failed accounting class not once, but twice. Next, he wanted me to become a Dental Hygienist, and I got weight listed for the program. Although my passion was always fashion and working a camera, I was always told I would never be good enough because I was always a "thick" girl. Fast forward to today-I no longer speak with my father, but I am now proud to present myself as Cristina Ramos, a 24 yo independent woman who aspires to fulfill my own dreams of being a model. To you this may just seem like another cliché story about a girl with daddy issues, but for me this means so much more. Although I am an amateur model, I am very passionate, very committed, and I believe I have what it takes to prove to myself that I am good enough and that I deserve to be in this industry.
