Niki Rose was born just outside Byron Bay, and has spent most of her life growing up in Northern NSW.
Niki's passion for fashion, costume design, photography, modeling and visual arts started from a very young age, a path she followed throughout high school and TAFE,

After leaving school Niki began work in event management and Decor productions for alternative lifestyle events across Australia. While continuing to design and create costume, clothing and dance and participate in occasional modelling jobs.

After taking time out to start a family, Niki moved back to Northern NSW and once again began to explore her passion for the Arts.
Since then Niki has launched her custom fashion/costume design business, Wild Rose Creations. As well as an alternative photography & styling project called Indigos Dreaming, aimed at giving everyday women a chance to have a safe, uplifting, confidence building modelling experience.
She often models for clothing brand Serpentine Wear, as well as other small local artists. Her photos are now used in promotions worldwide.

Niki also dances with "Lakita' & "The Ladies of the Lounge" in Byron Bay & Melbourne. She continues to train & collaborate with Lakita. As well as furthering her studies with other experienced teachers such as Rachel Brice & Zoe Jakes (Datura Online Belly Dancing School), Jodi Waseca and many other talented Australian teachers.
Always looking for something new and different - By joining MM she hopes to gain more experience and exposure, as well as meet like minded passionate artists.

On nudity - I usually like to work with a photographer at least once before doing nude shots. I may bring a friend/assistant along (will be discussed beforehand) to help behind the scenes ect. although I don't like too many people around so we can have good focus. I don't want to work for porn, don't like to do open leg shots & will not engage in sexual activity for money.

Modelling is my job & I love it. I'm into new ideas and love a good challenge.
I learn a lot even on standard commercial shoots that i can use on future projects so any work is good for me, but my passion really lays with creating more artistic images, costuming & concepts... one's that are bold, different, beautiful, magical & thought provoking.
I usually end up doing something fantasy based if left to my own devices but if you had an idea in mind i'm good with that too. I really like the juxtaposition of beauty against a backdrop of something more unusual, dark vs light, gentle but strong, man made with nature etc. Although design and fashion are my main passions, I take both as seriously as the other. I always appreciate feedback on my work from people I work with & I prefer to be paid in cash if possible. I usually always have an assistant with me, because of the nature of my costuming i often need experienced help during changes. When on for 4 hours or more, I will have food with me I will eat if you allow that. I often work for around $50 an hour for casual work but that is negotiable depending on how much the project aligns with my own passions and beliefs.
TFP is also an option, but conditional on the work you wanted to do.
