From a very young age, I have had a keen interest in art and photography. What began as typical childhood space and dinosaur drawings blossomed into realistically rendered pencil, watercolor, and acrylic paintings and, ultimately, certification in Natural Science Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. I have showcased my work in a half a dozen exhibits with the GNSI (Guild of Natural Science Illustrators).
Years before cell phone selfies, I was in the habit of recording my travels and concert-going with disposable cameras, disc cameras, and point-and-shoots. Later, as I grew more serious, I used a Nikon N-65 film SLR to capture crisp photos of landscapes and portraits. In the early 2000s I wrote reviews for a rock fanzine and photographed local bands. My love of rock and roll and edgy subject material continues to this day.
Not to mislead you, I am a photography hobbyist. I do not derive my primary income this way. I have to slave away at a computer job nine to five to pay for my rent. Yet, I have the artist’s eye and a good-natured fun-loving quality that I think you will find refreshing and unpretentious.
I would love to photograph you either indoors or outdoors. As for the latter, I have a penchant for finding interesting backdrops in surprising locations. Looking forward to working with you! Let’s make some magic together!
