Through the years photography has brought me a great deal of joy. As an amateur, or hobbyist, photographer I learned metering and composition on an old school film SLR camera, and as much as I miss the darkroom at times, I love the huge creative outlet that a DSLR and Photoshop provide. Starting my bid as a professional photographer a few years back has been exciting and has forced me to grow and be creative in ways that I wouldn’t have otherwise. I enjoy nature/wildlife photography, but prefer not only the interaction with people, but the sense of accomplishment when a client or model, for the first time, sees an image that they love. To this end, I am always looking for ways to improve as a photographer, both behind the lens and in Photoshop, so that I can better make my visions come alive on the canvas.
