Husband and wife team Natasha and Doug Grays launch their new British premium womens’ denim brand ‘Graysey’ to fulfil a lifelong love of fashion and 1970s luxe glamour. Inspired by icons such as Ali McGraw, Jane Birkin and Debbie Harry, Graysey is focused on offering desirable flattering pieces that are timeless and will become wardrobe staples for years to come. The new label is ethically made in a woman-owned factory in Portugal, committed to creating a socially conscious business, which supports women and is sustainable.
The first design from the new label is their innovative hero product Jeaks™. These combine premium denim with a unique new ergonomic fabric ensuring maximum comfort without compromising their style credentials. Each pair of Jeaks™ features a stretch panel along the inside seams which can be printed in any colour or design. These breathable panels ensure the perfect fit and contour the leg to offer a slimmer silhouette.
Manufactured in Portugal, the label is deeply eco-conscious and is committed to reducing its carbon footprint. It aims to minimise the environmental impact of making denim garments by using washes that are GOTS certified and techniques to finish the denim which are not harmful to the environment or the people making them. Its packaging is 100% reusable or recyclable and its plastic garment bags are biodegradable.
Additionally, a percentage of the profits is donated to the ‘Women for Women International’ charity which supports the most marginalised women in countries affected by conflict and war.
