I’d love to share my work and collaborate with the talented people of Model Mayhem for a plethora of reasons! I want to connect with photographers and makeup artists, hair stylists and wardrobe stylists who share my following views below, so that we may create edgy, provocative, beautiful, images of top quality:
My definition of modeling is becoming a character, embodying physically and mentally the clothing, setting, mood in which you shoot. Being a chameleon and changing your mood, movement and mindset to adapt to the world you are becoming a part of each time you shoot. To push yourself out of your comfort zone and express yourself in ways you wanted to and didn’t know how, or have been afraid to. Being a dancer and performer has pushed me to view modeling as an extension of the performance world and a new way for me to adapt, and become these characters, energies I seek to represent. And just as importantly- as an artist it’s a platform I’m using to draw attention to social injustices and reach a larger audience using images and captions that are provocative or thought provoking.
