So what I am? Am I what someone can call a real photographer or am I a hobbyist who uses photography as my creative outlet. I am still figuring that part out and being super self critical doesnt always make that easy. My attempt here is to try and create art, and being somewhat of an analytical person I am trying to figure out what that looks like for me. So I shoot...I learn...and then shoot again. Oh...and I travel...and shoot. Pre-COVID I have done day trips to random places just to do a shoot...because...why not? Travel is also one of my passions and I will often combine the opportunity to rack up more miles with a chance to see a random city. But anyway...I live in Riverdale in the Bronx and I prefer to shoot outdoors because there is nothing more beautiful than nature. Also outside is free...usually...and ofters endless opportunities for creativity. So yep...thats it.
