I am a keen amateur, having taken pictures for over 50 years. I have several cameras including full frame cameras. For me, photography is a means of recording and understanding the world we live in. I have for many years used photograhs as a means of recalling past events and people, but I have tried to go beyond making just travel snaps. I try to use photography to give insights into the world of nature. The most miraculous thing in the world for me is the variety and diversity of the human body. I am especially interested in showing the elegance, beauty, grace and wonder of people in all manner of situations; posed and formal, relaxed and at leisure, having fun, being serious - indeed in all human situations. For me, figure studies are amongst the most rewarding of all aspects of photography. I hope to use Model Mayhem to find models with whom to create beautiful images. The act of creation is enough for me - I do not want to exhibit my pictures publicly. I have, though, been able to provide models with pictures that they have found useful in their professional lives. I hope that Modem Mayhem will help me find models in the area in which I live.
