There’s something very special about fashion. It’s a universal concept. The idea that we can place pieces of fabric on our back, creating an identity... is mind-boggling. Think about it. These clothes...stitched together creating a final silhouette...easily has a hand in our lives. Not only in creating our identity but helping us showcase it to the world. It’s a magical thing. We use fashion to tell a story that emotes feelings. It’s funny...just by putting together a look. Finding the dress, choosing the accessories, matching the perfect pair of shoes. We can create a narrative. Not of words, but of feelings. I've been a fashion photographer for the last 5 years. And in that time I've met fantastic induvials. Through Model Mayhem I hope to meet more. I want to create a world where we can show the best versions of our selves. Where fashion is not only art but culture. Because fashion photography is more then photographing fabric. It's capturing the soul of an era.
