When I was a kid, I never thought I would ever do modelling. Being a POC with features not exactly meeting the criteria of a conventionally attractive model, it never occurred to me that I would want to have my photos taken professionally and to be included and displayed as part of a portfolio.

Recently dabbling into the arts, fashion and photography, I realised there is still quite a huge lack of diversity in the photographs I see, particularly in the types of shoots/styles I now work in. I've spoken to several photographers and the reason I am often given is that often the models who do feel comfortable and agree to do risque type photos just happen to be of a certain aesthetic, and if they do find people who don't possess features that are conventionally attractive but are nonetheless comfortable doing those shoots, they often don't feel comfortable for their photos to be publicly posted.

But then, it becomes a chicken-egg situation and we end up in this cycle of waiting for things to start looking different.

But what if we don't really have to wait? What if we can make that change happen now?

I have a strong advocacy for promoting diversity and inclusiveness in the industry. I am mostly interested working with photographers and other artists who promote body neutrality, s*x-positivity, diversity, and inclusiveness.

Open to shoot concepts aligned with the above principles.
