I am an amateur photographer/videographer who joined MM earlier this year to connect with models for paid shoots.  My goals are simply to hone my skills, produce work that I can be proud of, and enter a few contests along the way.  I have also begun offering stock footage and creative clips for sale on Pond5, which you can see samples of at the link provided.

I aim to bring elements of fun and storytelling to the portraits I make, in order to reveal the unique energy, joyfulness, and personal power of the people I photograph. 

When I plan a shoot I always begin with a concept for the portrait and then give careful thought to the wardrobe, poses, and sometimes props that will work best.  I share the concept with the model in advance and am happy to make adjustments based on the model’s recommendations, before and during the shoot. 

I am semi-retired from my day job (a long career in marketing) and now enjoy the freedom to spend my afternoons creating.
