At first I linked to your portfolio from a photographer. The first thing I did was look at your portfolio and although it was mostly appearing to be webcam or self shot images, I saw a lot of potential and natural beauty.
I immediately went back to your main page and clicked on 'add as friend'. Then I came back to read your profile.
As a photographer whos primary style is that of nudes, I took offense to the statement in your profile regarding nudes.
Normally I let peoples opinions roll of my back on MM but this time I was shocked by the flat out ignorance of your entire statement.
Stating that posing nude leads to porn and is "unclassy" is completely off the mark in so many ways. Nudes have been one of the most fundamental and inspiring subjects for artists for centuries.
Is it because of a religious intolerance that you have this opinion? Is it some other moral upbringing? Or is it simply because so many photographers on MM have asked you that you felt the need to embarass yourself by stating your ignorant point of view in the section of your portfolio that is suppose to help attract artists to working with you?
That friend request I sent you before reading your email. Don't bother adding me. You wouldn't like my portfolio anyway. It isn't as classy and cool as you are.
