Currently I work as the staff photographer of the New Times SLO and Santa Maria Sun. I have been shooting for over ten years and I am finally a full time professional. I am 36, been living in San Luis Obispo since 1989, worked as a Hearst Castle tour guide, record label owner, amongst other things.

I have a busy schedule with my work and commercial shoots - plus my own allotted down time. I prefer to meet a model before doing any photography to see if I actually want to photograph you and to see if there is a "click" for the lack of a better word with the model. I am not going to waste my time shooting a model that I don't have any inspiration to shoot. Personality goes a LONG way in making for good pictures and if there is a personality clash - the whole point of shooting is moot, especially when I am doing it for free. This is NOT a dating site for me, I have a professional reputation to uphold in this community. In essence, if you don't want to take 20 minutes of your time to meet up and talk about shooting and get to know each other just a little bit, please don't bother to ask for TFCD/TFP or anything else of that nature. On to the regular stuff:

I would like to shoot various different styles of images, nothing pornographic. I have a studio space to shoot in, and portable lights for outdoor on location. The types of images I am looking for usually are discovered after I get to know the model and get a sense of their personality. Most often I find, the best images come a bit into a shoot as the ideas pop into my head.

Shoots will mostly consist of Time for CD images, however, there is a possibility that paid assignments might come depending on what I am shooting commercially.
