About Me
I have a hard time defining myself as a makeup artist. I believe the art form has turned into showcasing a makeup product line rather than using that line to enhance the bigger picture: a feeling, a time, a moment a viewer can relate to. My artistry lies in finding something perfect for each individual face as well as the direction given me. I'm a huge fan of big, braided, intricate hair and will often come prepared to make some happen. I love doing hair almost as much as I enjoy doing makeup, so feel free to use me.
Fashion is where my eye takes me usually. I'm a fan of using bold color and dabbling in many eras. Vintage inspired photography amazes me. I'm a very hands on person to work with when given the creative freedom. I end up hanging in a tree with a few reflectors and touch ups. I too strive for the perfect shot. I've worked in film, print, as well as runway. I have art background and I've been known to take my crafty hands into prop making, wardrobe/accessory, and set design which vary in pricing. My kit fees are low, and sometimes can be waved if the project strikes a nerve. ------------ I'm in need for tfp/cd photographers in general: Professionals or new artists would just want to try some bold new ideas to build their books are more than welcome. Outdoor/Indoor. DESIGNERS. So many local Portland designers are coming up with the most creative, amazing pieces. I , myself, would love to wear it all. Lucky for you, you probably know someone who can wear it better and I'd like to be the one who highlights your unique style. Fashion models for both runway and still shoots are always a plus. I'm very interested in all skin tones, body sizes and facial structures that are of a more natural look. Eager, hardworking, creative models are best suited. I'd love to work with a few other makeup/stylists on a medium to large shoot production of our combined creation. ------------ The best ways to reach me are: Here! [or] Email: [email protected] NOTE: Please give me at LEAST four days notice when inquiring about a shoot. "Are you available tomorrow" doesn't work so well for me these days. Plus, the more prepared I am, the better your model/photos will look. Thanks! Credit Notes
