I'm looking to build my portfolio and I think ModelMayhem.com  is a good way to fuel this process.

I love photography, it is my passion.

My thought is that anyone can take a picture. - Anyone with a little skill and a bit of knowledge can take a good picture.  However what I am striving for is something above and beyond that of just point and click photography.  There is something to be said about capturing those rare moments, when the lighting is right, the mood is perfect, the environment is in sync and everything clicks.  That is what I am looking for.

I enjoy working on a theme basis.

For me, it’s gotta be fun, if it’s not why bother doing it.  So, even if it is a serious/ dramatic photo we are striving for, chances are there will be some laughter and smiles during the time spent together.

I love juxtaposition ,  contrasts, textures and interesting lighting.

I am not new to the “photography world”  nor  do not consider myself a “professional photographer”

However, with every shoot I do, every picture I take, I find myself one step closer to where I would like to be as a photographer.

Not only with my skills with a camera, but also my ability to communicate with the people whom I shot.
As far as communication skills, I have been told that I am a very good “communicator”

For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than having a great shoot then walking away from the experience, having had fun and learning something new and interesting, and getting the shot that we are both looking for.

As far as experience, I worked with a lifestyle magazine for 4 years. I oversaw the fashion shoots and editorial pieces and oversaw the art direction, as well as the fashion editorial pieces. 

I have a few basic requirements:

1. Must be 18 years or older.
2. Open-minded.
3. Must sign a Model Release Form.
4. Be Yourself & Be Comfortable.

I'd like to work with models that are trying to build their portfolio as well and collaborate on some projects on a TFCD (time for cd) basis. 

OK, enough of this writing stuff…. (Let’s take some pics and create something GREAT )
