Hello, I'm Matteo.

I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a BFA. The specific field of study was digital arts in which I heavily used Adobe Photoshop as well as both analogue and digital photography. I really enjoy working with Photoshop, so it was only natural for me to expand to digital photography as a more serious hobby. Even the small tweaks can make or break a photograph I believe; I cannot stand images that have obvious touch-ups done to them; which a lot of model photographs have. Skin has texture, and I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to my Photoshop editing.

I am looking to get experience shooting model photography so that I can eventually either freelance, or find a professional photography job shooting models. My model shooting experience is quite limited - hence the desire to gain more practice and build a portfolio of extremely high quality. We all have to start somewhere.

I currently shoot with a Canon EOS 40D. I do not have a studio at the moment, however I like to experiment constantly. I would be up for any suggestions as to different locations or settings for photographing a model. I look forward to working with my models to create unique, playful, fun photographs that will express both the model's individual unique personality as well as my own.

Other hobbies include digital painting, drawing, and 3D modeling - since I am an artist of course that would make sense. I suppose I also enjoy a good gaming session! Then again, who doesn't like to pass some time with a good round in a game!

I am looking to do some photo shoots TFCD to build my portfolio.
