I am a third generation photographer. I learned mostly everthing I know from my father. He was a portrait photog for 30 years. My stlye of shooting is far different from his I guess due to influence. All of my ideas come from deep inside the back of my head. I usually go into shoots blind. My creative juices start flowing once my eyelash brushes against the view finder. Then once my eye focuses it feels as if my mind was tranfered into a new and exciting universe that I am hidden in and I am in charge. I know it sounds crazy but I am sure there is someone who is passionate enough to understand this. One thing I love about photography is that I learn something new each day. It is always a challenge and always so rewarding. If the day comes when I say "I think I know everything about photography", slap me across the face into realism. I find great honor in an artist that is humble. One who no matter how talented they are they will still acknolledge your work and help you chase your dream. For me that one person was my father. Even though we didn't speak until I was twenty. After all that time apart it turns out I am just like my father. A passionate photographer. It is great when someone pushes you to the limit to acheive your goals but it is amazing when that person is yourself. God bless. I hope you enjoy my work.
