I graduated from High School in 2008 and bounced around between degrees I never quite finished. I did three semesters of a Bachelor of Fine Arts, three semesters of a BA in English, and now I'm about to start a Bachelor of Graphic Design majoring in Photography, which I think is more "me"... hopefully it lasts more than three semesters!!


I've been shooting for years, but got serious about it upon leaving high school three years ago. I've now got a fairly full portfolio and am largely on the lookout for paid shoots.

I'm most inspired by cinema; every photo being part of a scene, having a story, conveying emotion. I have been working towards creating this feeling in my photos lately because I am beginning to really find my style and this is it. You don't have to be an actor to shoot with me at all, though. I will talk to you before the shoot about what the tone and the emotion should be, and what could be going through your head, and I love models who like to interpret things and bring their own personality to it, as well. I feel like every image I take should look like it's a film still. The subjects in it should have come from somewhere, and they should be going somewhere.

I'm always happy to put ideas together or work out an entire concept with any of the people I'm working with on a shoot. I love hearing about what other people would like to do and creating an idea with a team which is uniquely ours.


I'm pretty flexible about how you can receive the images after a shoot. If you like, we can just go through the images on the camera straight after the shoot has finished, you can pick your favourites and I'll photoshop those and pass them on. Or you can leave it up to me to pick the best ones, and I'll pass those on after a photoshop treatment. As for the number, I'll likely provide with with 6-8 finished photos. All images I provide you with will be fully retouched. I don't pass on original images. Everything looks better after a little touch-up.


I'll ask all models to sign a model release form for TFP/TFCD shoots. You can still use the images in your portfolio - online and off - of course, this just gives me legal permission to use them in various ways, including selling them if it ever came to that. If you're under 18 years old, make sure you bring a parent to the shoot to sign for you. Either that, or print out a model release form and have it signed before you come, if neither of your parents can make it.

As a last note, I don't care how awesome you are on photoshop, I'd really prefer if you didn't re-retouch the images I give you (models, MUAs, doesn't matter). They've already been done. If you don't like the way I've photoshopped something, please just let me know what's wrong and I'll probably change it to your liking (unless we have vastly differing ideas on what looks good). Also, proper credit when posting in portfolios (my link in the credits section for MM ports, not just my name written as a caption) is a must.
