At the age of six I was casted to play a role in a say no to drugs commercial that aired in elementary schools throughout the country. After doing the commercial my passion for the performing arts grew even stronger as she auditioned for many roles and talent competitions through out elementary and junior high. I then went into modeling with Golden Glitter Modeling Agency and Career Center where I walked the runways of numerous fashion shows, did fashion shoots for various clothing lines and even taught runway to younger kids signed by the Agency.  I began to learn the technical aspects of theatre as the Assistant Director of four major productions in High school in Washington DC. 

While at the University of Toledo I worked very diligently to perfect my craft on the stage and behind the scenes. I was casted in many productions as the lead character and finally got nominated to compete in the KCACTF competition for the Irene Ryans Scholarship. I still pursued modeling as well by doing local fashion shows and became the 2001 Miss Black & Gold Toledo.
