As its name suggests it is the "Caviar" of the fashion industry.  Cavi was founded in 2004 by Phil Gapud (Head Designer & Director of Marketing), Nathan Krivosheyev (Director of Production) and Danny Victor (Director of Sales and Operations), who are new to the fashion industry.  Originally, the common denominator for CAVI's owners was music; presently it's their trendsetting custom military shirts that are receiving equal attention from artists and consumers alike.  Phil and Danny were introduced as interns at Motown/Universal Records in New York City, while neither had any real knowledge of the fashion industry, both were savvy when it came to trends and what was considered to be "hot" on the street.  Nathan, who attended college with Danny, started a career in the fashion industry working with different accessory lines and manufacturing companies.  With an equal vision and the drive to change the fashion industry, the three entrepreneurs joined forces in an attempt to create something that would express their individuality.  Coming from diverse backgrounds (Filipino, Haitian and Russian) the line was destined for a wide market, the result - CAVI, with custom designed military styled shirts.
