Genaya Parris is a Fashion designer from South Wales. Since graduating from University in 2007 with a BA (hons) in fashion design, she has created many beautiful one-off pieces as well as three full collections to date.

Describing her signature style as a mixture of ‘street chic’ with divine femininity, Genaya manages to combine aspects of Urban and Street Wear with elegant shapes and silhouettes.

Genaya has showcased her designs at a number of fashion events including Fashion Wales Live 2010, Modeling Network and Miss Fashion vs Beauty Show 2010 to name but a few.

It was at this latter event that one of Genaya’s designs caught the eye of the one of the night’s judges, The Catwalk Professor. The BEFFTA award winner, who has been dubbed, as Europe’s own Jay Alexander, asked to wear one of her creations, which he later wore to the opening of London fashion week.
