Hi, I'm Phil, thanks for dropping by.

My two favorite photographic subjects are beautiful women and mountains and when I get the chance, I like to photograph them both together.  I mostly work in the Art Nude genre but can be tempted in to other work.

Smile, smile, smile …

I do this job, because I enjoy it, simple as that.  I like to capture a fleeting moment for all time. I want to work with models who also enjoy what they do and let it show through their work.  There are some models who's portfolios show little emotion, then there are some who are relaxed and happy in their work.  Then there are those who's confidence and sheer enthusiasm for what they do shines out of each and every picture like a ray of sunshine. You know who you are and I want to make pictures with you.

Take me outside my comfort zone…

I don't usually use a studio. Why?  Well much as I like the idea of a warm comfortable place to work, the main problem (aside from the cost) with a studio, is that it ties you down and the results can sometimes be a a bit samey. Take me to a flat, a place of work or out in the country and I'll use whatever comes to hand and just make the situation work.

It's a game of two halves …

    Your half and mine - yours is to look beautiful and mine is to capture that essence.  It's not easy, it takes time and patience

I want to work with you if …

    • you're happy to try out new ideas and think (and pose) outside the box.
    • you're happy in your own skin … it's the only one you've got so you might as well get used to it.
    • it's just the unenhanced you that's going to pose (no silicone please - sorry, it's just not me).

What am I looking for in a model.

    • Attitude, attitude, attitude.  If you love what you do it will show in the pictures.
    • Difference.  You don't have to be young and nubile, nor mature and curvy, you just have to bring something different
