About Me

Original Visual Individual.
I am currently working to build up a photography portfolio that is as solid as my illustration and design work. I have captured some great imagery through photography in the past few years, and I'm looking forward to continue to make new images and contacts through MM.
I have always respected and paid all models' rates for shoots if the ideals and model is right for the shoot and cool ideas/ concepts agreed upon. I am also open to TFP with any newcomers looking to start a portfolio.
I am currently interested in capturing images of or related to (and possibly creating costumes for): Vintage photography of the 1920s-1930s, Victorian, Gothic, Goth subculture, Pin-ups (1950s), contemporary urban, Pulp/ Film Noir style, Science Fiction, CyberPunk, Cosplay, sexy geeks or anything edgy, gritty and exciting.

While I do use photoshop on some of my images, I don't care for super airbrushed pictures, and try to do any effects "in camera".

I prefer to shoot in my 2 story house/ studio in Pittsburg, East Bay (which has much more room/ floors and potential for shoots than my tiny San Francisco apartment ever did). But I am also open travelling to an Airbnb/ hotel location of mutual agreement for the shoot.

I am totally open for all kinds of of shoots again in 2021/ 2022! It's time to ease off the pandemic limitations now and start doing these fun shoots again! (Although, I have been doubly vaccinated, and will wear a mask during the shoot if requested.) It's time to make all kinds of cool sexy art again, hopefully with all types of fresh faces and talent after so long!

"Daniel is such a dedicated artist- both in his day job of graphic design where he excels, but also in his photography, where he shows an indestructible determination to make each shoot count; for each interaction with the model to grow his art, and respects models as equals in artistic calibre. This mixed in with a great focus prepared for the shoot, with a little room to experiment and a friendly, if not a bit shy demeanor that instantly sets you at east.
