Welcome to my port, I'm Scott Rose. I've been a semi-professional photographer for 20 some years. This portfolio is a small part of that work. I add to it at irregular intervals.
My Goals:
1) To have fun. For me photography is a creative outlet. It should never feel like "real work".
2)To take pictures organically. I'd rather spend time behind the camera than in front of a computer.
3)To create art. To me art provokes an emotional response. It may be awe, it may be awe, or inspiration, or even repulsion. If the viewer's response is merely "pretty" or "technically competent" then it's not art but decoration.
