About Me

Inspired by beauty and fashion at an early age, Ann Johnson began her foray into the art of makeup by studying the colors and shapes of her favorite TV stars faces and duplicating what she saw. Her journey continued as she apprenticed with makeup artists and photographers throughout the country. She has trained with experts in the field such as Paul Thompson (Director of Education for the Makeup Designory) and Crystal Wright (Founder of the Crystal Agency for makeup, hair and fashion styling).

For the Piedmont Community College Film & Video Production Technology Program, Ms. Johnson served as an adjunct professor, teaching special effects and film makeup.

Ms. Johnson is also a Licensed Esthetician with a wealth of skincare knowledge. She continuously enhances her education and skills by attending various Makeup Artistry, Application Technique, and Esthetics classes throughout the East Coast. Most recently, she attended a workshop given by celebrity makeup artist Megan Martinez in Atlanta.
