Burnsides Photography and Imaging combines several aspects of image capture, processing and creation to produce web, and print based art and imagery. Whether I use ton of light from a 5 strobe shot, or just a touch from a candle, I’ll work the lights to show what I want using bare flash bulbs for harsh shadows, gridded lights gelled to heck for colored surreal effect and up to 74" octagonal light banks for soft shadows.. There are combined with a low noise full frame sensor digital SLRs to produce starting raw images for the for the creation process. My taste in post processing can range from an absolute minimal touch up for portrait/modeling work, to extreme tone mapping, image/focus stacking for landscape, macro, and architecture. The final part of my creation process involves printing to paper, canvas, films on a large format archival pigment printer. Many images have different impacts when viewed at difference sizes, on different media, with a different format(ie, gallery wrap, versus a framed print). I only have a small portion of my work online, but I do have a substantial printed portfolio. I look forward to working with you. One note.. I don't do nudity/top shelf work..
