Hello my name is Jim Krauss I am 54 years old and returning to photography after a short 30 year break. I started in photography when I was given a small darkroom kit from sears along with an Argus C3 range finder camera by my father at the age of 14. That simple gift started me on a life long love of photography. While I never really stopped taking photographs, I did stop working in the darkroom and trying to not just take pictures but creat Art. I am now attempting to return to the Art that I fell in love with as a young man and this time try to become the photographer that I always used to believe I could be. The sole reason that I have joined Model Mayhem is to not only meet people in the business but to hopefully learn from them. To broaden my knowledge of photography as we'll as be able to have ready access to models and the other professionals that help to make for a successful career.
