Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois at a very early age Karla developed the love for acting and writing which followed her through out her college years. She has just Complete her MBA in Business/General Management and she obtained three degrees in four years an AAS in Broadcasting with a minor in Theater, BA in Communications and BS in Business Administration. Her dreams of acting continued and she was in plays such as Raisin in The Sun, Flyin West, Stepper’s Story, 15 minute Hamlet, Windows to the soul, Joe Turner’s come and gone, Greatest Pretender Yet, Child Support, With You I’m Born Again & Salon Garbage which she had written, produced and directed herself along with several other plays and independent films her resume is extensive. She is a spoken word artist, Writer, Producer/Director with her own production company & entertainment business. Modeling and promotion modeling work is one of her trades as well.
