Shomari Rue was born in Berkeley California, September 30 1976. And from a young age he's always been a performer. His first performance was in a talent show, for his elementary school. This is where he did a dance to Micheal Jackson's beat it. The crowd was screaming and the lights from the cameras, made it seem if he was Micheal himself. It would be safe to say that this was the beginning of were it all started. As time went on Shomari appeared in more talent shows. And age 14 he discovered his talent for singing. Shortly after that he started writing his own songs. And became opening acts for some of the west coast artist. In2deep,Celle Cel just to name a few. He then got into acting and started taking classes. And landed his first role as an store employee for a local commercial. Then finding himself in a R&B group 3 months later. Were they performed up and down the west coast for a period of 4 years. But Shomari wanted more and always had his sights focus on Hollywood. But before he could even leave Bakersfield he landed a background role as a raven wood soldier. On a CBS TV show, named Jericho. But finally a year and six monthts later Shomari got his chance to move to the city of angels. And in 2009 he landed his first staring role in a Major film called Icemosis.Right now the film is in pre-production and set to be released at the end of 2011. Shomari's goals in the next 10 years will be as follows. Recording his first R&B album on a major label. starting his on fashion line & becoming an A list actor in Hollywood. And with his focus and determination to make his dreams a reality.The sky is the limit, for this young man.
