About Me

Hi there!  Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my profile.

This is my modeling profile - my clothing design profile is listed under Icon Alchemy, MM#3675782.

I spent 2017 battling cancer and while thankfully I have survived, I incurred a fair amount of scarring during my treatments.  Therefore, I am no longer available for nude modeling (with the potential exception of semi-nude projects to be determined on a case-by-case basis).  I am continuing to leave some of my nude work in my portfolio for now, as it demonstrates my posing ability and the quality of projects I have had the pleasure of working on, but this should not be considered indicative of my current shooting parameters.

In addition, in the wake of cancer the strands of silver hair at my temples increased significantly - while I am lucky in that I did not lose my hair to chemo and therefore still have a fair amount of long, dark brown hair in back, the camera tends to pick up the silver at the front, so that has had an impact on my look that may appeal to photographers looking to work within the recent trend of silver-haired models, but I'm not likely to be mistaken for a 30-year-old anymore.  wink

Cancer threw my life into a state of flux that I am still recovering from, so I am slower to reply to messages and things are up in the air in terms of where I will be going with my modeling, but I do intend to get back to creating beautiful images as soon as I can, and wanted to be sure to let people know what's going on rather than being the annoying non-responsive model.  wink  I will post updates here when they become available and when appropriate.

Some Background Information:  In addition to modeling, I am a performance artist and dancer with martial arts training and extensive contortionist experience, the director and choreographer of Icon Alchemy performances and a clothing designer also under the Icon Alchemy name, and a founding member of the Atomic Immersion Collaborative, creators of installation and interactive performance art events. As a result of my performance activities, I have a sizable wardrobe of vintage, gothic, fetish, and sci-fi/fantasy costumes and accessories, and I am experienced in theatrical costuming, make-up, and set design - in particular I have a passion for creating otherworldly event environments, and would love to spend more time translating that skill into photo sets. I also have a longstanding fine arts background, and I love combining multiple forms of art, including painting, photography, illustration, installation art, performance art, and video. I have had voice training and I have many years of experience in public speaking, so I enjoy vocal projects as well as visual ones, including promotional work.  As the co-founder and former Creative Director of the TempleCon retro-futurist convention, I love science-fiction and fantasy-based art, cyberpunk, anime, and gaming so any projects that cater to those audiences are sure to pique my interest, as are projects with a more mystical bent - I am a professional astrologer and Tarot reader, and enjoy projects that delve into the deeper meanings of things.

I am primarily looking for paid modeling work, but I will happily consider any project that utilizes a combination of my creative skills and that I believe can contribute significantly to my portfolio.  Please note that while I am happy to travel, I do ask that my travel expenses be paid for by the photographer or client.  Also, if you are considering contacting me about a TFP/CD project, please, first take a look at my list of "Imagery I Aspire To."  These are the images that make my heart go pit-a-pat.  If they do not similarly move you, please, let's not waste our time!

When contacting me, please include the following information:

- What kind of work you are interested in shooting
- Location
- Date and Time
- Transportation/hotel (if traveling is involved)
- Compensation
- Anything else that I should know about the shoot

Also, for the best results, please contact me at least 24 hours prior to a potential shoot (preferably more!) - even in the wake of cancer I lead a fairly active life, so I am rarely just hanging around at 6 or 7am waiting for an invitation to shoot on the same day.  wink

Thanks!
