About Me

Designer Alina Iovita began her career in 1997, when she began designing custom clothing for a high end clientele in Scottsdale, AZ.  The styles were made accordingly to each client’s measurements based on sketches and fabric chosen by them in Alina’s showroom.

In 2001 Alina relocated to Toronto, Canada where she opened a small boutique offering her own designs along with accessories from Canadian designers and home decor items.  With the boutique bringing in enough revenue for her to finally pursue her true love, Alina Iovita launched her signature ready-to-wear collection at the Phoenix Runway fashion show with a fashion philosophy that emphasizes purity of style, and sensuously draped streamlined silhouettes; Ms. Iovita has a natural design sense of sophisticated elegance and uncluttered modern design. She gains inspiration for her collections from the look of different exotic animals as well as from her yearly travels through Europe and North America. "Alina loves clothes beyond loving clothes; she loves everything that has to do with clothes. This is not a make-believe thing here; it's the real thing."  This label is very exclusive and often times production of only 20 pieces of a particular style is offered in a season.  The Alina Iovita collection always stands out in the crowd because of its delicious color palette and signature design elements.  Each piece is vat dyed in the studio making it so no two pieces are exactly alike.  The Alina Iovita label is available online and selected retail shows only.
