I am looking to do a series of shoots throughout the month of January with different themes. Some will be editorial, some glamour, some fantasy. I will coordinate the shoots based on availability of photogs, MUA and wardrobe and additional models.
Please indicate your interest in terms of updating your port - as this will be your sole compensation, I want to make sure everyone leaves happy.
Also, if you have preferences regarding location or special access to a location, indicate that as well.
This will be very much a collaborative effort. Lets have fun, and make some art!

Looking to do some photos for a series called "le gateau de mon enfance"; a book that explores, as a general theme, the fond memories i had growing up as a lad... the little things that were scintillating, exciting arousing etc... the quick glance down the blouse of the teacher's shirt, your mom's friend adjusting her stockings under the dinner table, the first time you got to second base, finding your dad or older brother's stash of penthouse magazine, spying on the girls locker room, your sister's friends dressing you up at their slumber parties, etc...
i want to recapture those moments on film and compile them into a book for a small limited run of about 100 copies and feature them at small fashion boutiques etc... the key is a small run of high quality (but low-budget) shoots where everyone involved receives credit and a bit of exposure while creating an interesting and collectible piece of art... There is a bit of nudity involved but it will lean much mre towards the implied/incidental nudity end of things as opposed to full on nudity.
To that end i'm interested in recruiting stylists, makeup artists, and of course models... female for the most part although we will need some "extras" for different roles in the shoots... If there are any photographers who would like to contribute their work as well i would love to talk with you too. I would like to begin shooting in March after nailing down all necessary resources. If this one goes swell, we will do another book shortly thereafter...

We\'re looking at opening up the new line of clothing, called Atramentous, and with it launching in January, we need models to fill the clothes!

Now, just like the previous casting call, here\'s how we\'d like to have things work:
As before, we\'d like to have a few alt models or gothic models who are looking to get their portfolio done to share a few shots that would be used on the website.
The payment in return would be some of the gothic clothing (great way to enhance the wardrobe!), and any time you\'d need from me to work on a port of some sort (be it TFCD, TFP, etc).
We\'d like this to be an ongoing thing with those local to us, as it\'s very hard for us to find many local goths in the scene. So please, anyone into a gothic or alt lifestyle, message us!
One little caveat though, is \"the look\", which is why we\'d like to meet up or view ports first. For this brand, we need a look that is more \"Victorian Gothic\", to coin a phrase.
Any examples that you need of previous shoots, or styles, please let me know and I\'ll be more than happy to provide them!

Thank you for the responses so far. I made a slight boo-boo on the date. I meant to say January 5, 2008 SATURDAY at 5pm.......
We're a new and small menswear clothing line. We are organizing a runway show to take place during NY Fashion Week in February at a dance club in Manhattan.
We are looking for MALE RUNWAY models to walk our clothes. We will have fittings on Jan 5, 2008, Saturday, at 5pm at our showroom in Manhattan. The address is 300 east 5th street close to 2nd avenue. We will have 1 or 2 more castings/fittings in January if you can't make it on 01/05/08.
The ideal model stats would be 5'11 to 6'2, slim/slender to slightly athletic since the clothes are slim fit to regular fit. Any shoe size. The blazer we're showing is a size 40 but not all guys will be wearing the blazer. The pants we're showing are a size 32.
Since we're new and don't have a lot of financial resources, we're looking for models who are also starting out, unsigned/freelance, and looking to expand their portfolio of runway experiences.
So, this gig would be a "Talent-For-
1.) portfolio building
2.) exposure
3.) pictures from the runway show on a CD
4.) experience/resume building
5.) getting your runway pics onto our website and myspace page
6.) a shirt or two from our clothing line
7.) telling a prospective modelling agency that you've done runway

This is a semi-open call for Playgirl magazine. Playgirl is seeking hot guys age 18-40 for their 2008 issues in SoCal. We will be auditioning Friday, December 28th through Monday, December 1st at a studio here in Santa Monica.
This audition DOES require nudity. You will need to fill out a short questionnaire, and the photographer will snap about 10 photos (face, shirtless, nude). Photos will be submitted to Playgirls production team for approval and final selects will be notified by phone or eMail.
We do work with additional magazines and video companies as well, you may indicate if you are interested in additional work on your questionnaire. Food and drinks provided, we're booking guys 20 minutes apart so there shouldn't be much waiting if you're on time.
