About Me

[quote]
For his contribution to the lens cap Charles was first nominated for a Nobel prize in 1981. ...The Yale business review has estimated that it alone has saved in excess of $300 million dollars in damaged and scratched lenses (the environmental savings have been huge).

Not one to stand still Charles quickly diverted into the medical arena where he worked on a cure for Alopecia in the Syberian Choeronycteris also known as the common pig. Three lawsuits later and Charles admits that although his work wasn't quite a success it did provide a deeper understanding of hair growth of mammals and why bacon taste so good.

His next move was quite a shock for many. Frustrated by the world of big business he took a two year sabbatical as a truck driver in India and Nepal where he delivered Jacuzzi's and bathroom fixtures.  "It was a spiritual move in many ways" Charles recounts. "I helped physically cleanse the Indian sub continent and they helped cleanse my soul. I was touched by their lack of materialism and toilet paper".

Charles has now moved into the area of Film and TV. He has written and produced many comedic pieces and says " I hate it when mayhem ports are written in the third person". His biography though long is an interesting read. He has dined with presidents hung out with movie stars but overall has remained modest and short.

His work on model mayhem is part of his passion.. he declares himself not to be an artist. "Only the public decide if I am an artist not me" he mutters. He will provide photo retouching services to those people he likes for $20. he is approachable and always returns comments.

"Comments are the fuel of creativity. we must accept them good and bad, and we must learn from them"...Charles Reilly
