This website is for a Delta flight attendant who was fired for posing in her uniform on Delta aircraft for images the company found to be inappropriate.

Now she has posted an MP3 of the phone call where she is fired. I thought that was illegal to record a conversation.

She is suing and miking all she can get out of this. I hope she loses.

Depending on what state it was recorded in it's legal in NJ without consent if you're recording the person your speaking to. If she was speaking to the person on the other end she's in the clear and she did not have to tell that person she was recording the conversation.
The law varies by state.

It says the lawsuit was filed in Georgia.

Ga. Code Ann. 16-11-62: Secretly recording or overhearing a conversation held in a private place, whether carried out orally or by wire or electronic means, is criminally punishable as a felony under statutory provisions regarding invasions of privacy. However, the law expressly provides that it does not prohibit a person who is a party to a conversation from recording and does not prohibit recording if one party to the conversation has given prior consent. Ga. Code Ann. 16-11-66.

You can find all the laws here.

same goes in ny state, in fact i could be recording this conversation now between us LOL

but without knowing the facts i cant say if i hope she loses or not, if its against company policy to use their equipment and unifroms etc like she did, then well she should be dismissed. sort of like the NYC female police officers who posed for playboy they got fired, ditto for the NYC firemen

Not totally off topic, but ...

"The “Stewsâ€? (current and former airline stewardesses) have been able to bring national attention to the fact that many large corporations are shirking their responsibility to their employees’ retirement plans and dumping that responsibility on the government, (tax payers) all while the upper management (CEOs, presidents, etc.) of these corporations continue to pull down their multi-million dollar salaries and bonuses while protecting their retirement packages.

Most retirement accounts are very underfunded. When United sent theirs to another source the payout was cut by twenty five percent. We will soon have an aging population that also with a lot less money coming in each month than they planned on having.
