Go to Google and enter DCE tools.  You should find their website and a free evaluation version of their software.  The evaluation copy runs indefinitely, but after 30 days prompts you to purchase it, and unlike some evaluation copies does not watermark the images in any way and does not disable any features after 30 days.

DCE tools has a great exposure compensation adjustment, a terrrific color cast remover and my favorite, a potrait skin cleaner.

It's one of the best and functunioal plug ins for photoshop I have ever found.

Try it and report back to me.

[ I am not associated with DCE tools, just a very happy user]

Yes it is a nice tool. And i have noticed the noise also but if you use a layer in conjunction with noise ninja it comes out great.

been a fan of their tools for years mate.. they have some stand alone freebies like the skin cleaner for one at a time images.. if they have removed it from their site, pm me and i'll throw the freebie version over to ya.. it also works great on sunsets as it smooths out the tones very nicely..

cheers mate
