Oh.. The file is compressed with RAR.  you need to uncompress it with a program like winrar.  try doing a google search for Winrar.

The file was compressed to an RAR file to make the file smaller and a little bit easier to upload/download.

do a google search for winrar for the program to "un-compress" it.  message me if you need help.

GO FOR IT!  I highly encourage everyone's different editing styles.  I keep doing the same editing style because I haven't perfected it yet.  When I can get my edits to look like Sean Armentia's and Gavin Oniell's, then i'll be content. smile

I'm just trying to encourage people to do more editing then just running a few filters on the small image, and actually download the raw image, and try editing for a nice print size.  Thats when the headaches really begin on the skin smoothing.

OK.. Diablized

And just so you can appreciate the detail

It's exactly for that very reason that I do all of my skin work at 400% magnification and only use a (highly tweaked) filter for finishing touches.  My 'Diablized' look is all done by a series of actions of my own design and then each layer/effect is hand tweaked.

I think if you bring the opacity a little bit down on the white of the eyes it will look a little bit more natural

Nice tutorial, but a tad overdone on the iris for my tastes.  Thanks for sharing it.

scale it down... most PS tutorials are OVER DONE just copy the image and set the blend to overlay and then turn the op. and fill down to like 30%

some times multiply works better and sometimes soft works better

I've kind of developed my own technique which seems to work quite well for me (see above).

Hi,

I took this image with a Nikon Cool Pix L4- This was at the end of a very hot and humid outdoor shoot and the model still managed to look great- unfortunately the wig didn't hold up as well as she did :-)
