What are some good ways to network in New York City? I'll be moved into the new studio in mid June and I'm getting my book together. I have an interview with an agency for representation and know a bunch of companies that need work done, but I'm looking for more of where one gets into the community. Important bars and restaurants, shops where industry types hang out, and that sort of thing. Also, I know there are invitation lists for shows and parties, how does one get on those realistically?
