Question mainly for nude models
Jun 04 05 09:29 am Link Tan Lines ? - I prefer the white parts. As far as modeling goes tan lines are not good IMO. Unless they are fully covered with whatever fashion you happen to be wearing I don't believe they are going to enhance the image. All natural rocks no matter what the skin tone is. -GregC Jun 04 05 12:15 pm Link good question . I never get the chance to go tan so i am pale or insecure and wont shoot if my colors are all wacky but I yet to have had this problem(I look nice regardless ) But the answer to this question depends really on the kind of style or image that you feel is going to go right for the setting its all up to the model because regardless of any thing else if you are not happy dont do it that way if you find your lines are solid with an expression of unique personality ; It is going to show in the pictures {your attitude } so again depends on the results you are trying to obtain . My answer as a model and professional opinion o what ever makes you comfortable with your self . My personal preferrance ~Tan full delicate and even like a drop of honey throughout the entire body . If I could of course `make the time to go out to get a natural sun tan . But I dont get things my way often so light olive or pearl beige or whatever I am and I still love me and so does every one else . Does that answer your question ? Jun 04 05 07:05 pm Link No tan lines. Jun 04 05 08:32 pm Link art nudes..i dont like tan lines.. glamour nudes..i like tan lines.. Jun 04 05 08:38 pm Link It all depends. I'm a figurative art shooter, mostly in B&W. B&W tends to exagerate tan lines sort of like an arrow pointing towad the 'forbiden' parts. They can add an erotic element, whether wanted or not. In my personal artistic work, my preference is for clean lines, either an all over tan or no tan at all. But it isn't all that important to me, I'll work with whoever comes to me for a shot. If I were shooting for erotic web sites or men's mags, I would probaboy love tan lines. But I'm not! Jun 04 05 10:17 pm Link Pale no tan lines Jun 04 05 10:31 pm Link

Jun 06 05 01:10 am Link I can't possibly see any artistic reason for tan lines! unless they're odd stragically placed ones, as opposed the the regular bra and bikini tan lines. Give me tan or pale, perferably pale, are there any albino models in the house??? Jun 06 05 01:19 am Link Posted by edrickguerrero photography: lol Jun 06 05 01:39 am Link Posted by DJ Foothill: You are my new best friend DJ lol yeah well unfortunately it is true. Jun 06 05 01:47 am Link I know of a few photographers that love tan lines... but lets face it they get in the way. If you try to wear something a little different and you have a white spot showing. It's just no good. Pale or Tan all over! Jun 07 05 02:42 am Link Hello, I do not like tan lines at all. I like the skin to be pure and natural. Jun 08 05 12:44 pm Link .......depends on what era I`m shooting? hahahahah! tan lines work good for that 1970`s style LOL!!!! But on the most part tanline`s of 1940`s 50`s and 60`s bathing suits DIDN`T look good, my OPINION is just STAY OUT OF THE SUN PERIOD!!!!! Art nude models didn`t tan in 1940......... I like the pale creamy untanned vintage look! That coppertone girl didn`t come out till about 1965/67 anyways..... Tom Jun 10 05 10:21 pm Link Posted by vanscottie: I consider myself and artist and I welcome tan lines. In my work, the sight of ordinary things like tan lines, elastic marks, slightly imperfect makeup, hair out of place or what have you adds an element of reality to what i do, which heightens the sexualness. I want my images to look like they are of real live people, not some constructivist ideal. Jun 10 05 10:53 pm Link pale I love that word Jun 11 05 05:36 am Link Posted by aye provide: I like tanned black models. It brings out the redness in the skintone. Very lovely. Jun 11 05 06:05 am Link What I really want to do and haven't done yet is pose with some REALLY DARK models. I do not care what region, race, gender or religion or age or size...I just want to do some major contrast stuff...besides, it is so much fun watching photogs try to expose both skintones correctly. he he. Jun 12 05 05:04 am Link Posted by edrickguerrero photography: How could you say that tan lines are porno, you have to be blond. Jun 12 05 01:58 pm Link I would love to shoot something like that!!! Posted by Lapis: Jun 14 05 01:05 am Link Well a lot depends on the shot and the look your going for. Pale can look really classy. Jun 16 05 05:04 pm Link |
