I try and keep my photos creative. Well, most of them. Some are shots just to show the type of work I will do (band shots, full frontal). But with others I try and use effect or angle, on a zero budget lol.

Just a question on creativity for this post. Does an image need to be highly posed, constructed and manipulated to qualify as creative?

Is this a critique of the images posted here, because if so, you can leave. Creativity means just what creativity means. This is a positive thread. If you cannot be positive and share creative works by creative people, then do not post here.

This was a serious question and you didn't respond to IT. You brought attitude!! If you can't make a positive response to a serious question without bringing negative attitude--what's the use in trying to hold an intelligent conversation. What in my question is negative. I find many of the images posted fantastic, but I find most if not all are examples of what I have in my question. I should not have to explain a decent question to some negative minded individual trying to take it to some lower level! You need to try to find your true feelings and motivation here!

i think this is an outstanding piece. very captivating and it makes me think(brings me to my terry brooks loving days where i read until my eyes hurt). i didnt agree with that critique of this picture at all- i thought the tree brought out the girl- gave her mystery and the light blue even capitalized that energy. very inspirational piece. makes me realize i have a looong way to go for where i want to be. but that's a good thing. ~dw www.darrenwellhoefer.com
