I just made these.  I'm still feeling a bit under the weather so I made simple ones, but tomorrow I'm going to spend the day making really elaborate multi-media cards.

What do you think of these? (The color is slightly off...but I'm out of energy.)

Currently, I only have the material to make one-of-a-kind pieces...but if you're serious I could make a set of each that would have the same background color, and the same color design, just a slightly different picture.

Or, I could grab the material to make exact copies this weekend.

I haven't yet made enough to put up on my art site, but I was thinking I'd sell these simple ones for $1.50 a pop.

That's a good price.

I was going to put it on a black card...but then tested it against every other color I had.  I think I still will put it some portion of that print on black, but I really love the blue.  Blue is not at all my favorite color, but I'm happy.

...just made two more.

The brown on the top one has a slight shimmer to it.  It's not glittery...just a little metallic.

Keep in mind these are 5am snapshots.

The top left in the first one is so cool. I love that one especially...

Was that a pattern or did you do that from scratch too?

The border is comprised of two separate chunks I cut out from a patterned piece of paper, and the flower I drew myself and cut out of another (but very, very similar) patterned piece of paper.

I see it now... the side and the bottom are separate... That's pretty cool though. I couldn't even tell.

Also, the red and blue together is a good way to make a bright, loud, piece that draws the attention.

I love bright and loud.  Occasionally I like to be a minimalist, with stark white or cream...but all of my paintings are loud.

They're not usually busy though.

oh wow oh wow oh wow. i love these!
and i agree that $1.50 is total bargain prices. don't sell yourself short, my friend! your work deserves a little more compensation, even if you're not In It For The Money.

Yay!!!  Your opinion means a lot to me!

I've been meaning to edit my post.  When I told my mom how much I was charging, she said I should at least charge twice as much.

So, I was thinking $3.00 or $4.00 per card.  I just didn't know if they were good enough that people would buy them at that price.

I guess I'll see.  smile
