that they don't bother reading a casting call before offering themselves up for it? Jezuz Josef & Mari! i posted one yesterday looking for MATURE models (38 to 50) for an upcoming ad campaign and website i'm doing for a cosmeceutical company. the call clearly states "Mature" in the headline and is mentioned again, along with age requirements in the body. so far, i've gotten about 10 pm replies. out of the ten, 2 fit the bill. the others range in age from 18 to 24. WTF??????????? /rant and don't tell me i should post this in model matters. i don't wanna get ripped to shreads on my burfday.

I've had models respond to my traveling notices telling me they are interested.
Some aren't even in the state I'm traveling to, or the state I'm traveling from, for that matter.

Photographers do it too, ALL OF THE TIME.
I will specifically say which city I am going to and after multiple times of having people in the same province or state contact me from a city several hrs away I post in the travel notification, I am not going to such and such city, they still msg me. If i also write I don't travel for tfps, I need to cover my travel costs, they msg me asking for a tfp, and it's usually in a city I have stated I am not going anywhere near. I will also say what I do and don't do and will be asked if for a certain amount of money will I change my mind, when I say no, they inform me I will. When I tell them Bill Gates doesn't have enough money to get me to change my morals and limitations they usually finally get it.
I just figure many people are stupid. Not models, not photographers, just people in general. You can walk out your front door and meet someone who can't read, that is why they respond to your casting call, they are just idiots! Yes, people really are THAT stupid.

i started collecting from laudromats and clothes lines, latley i've been collecting from garbage cans behind funeral homes..
i'm willing to do tfcd, but i wasnt all the raw images on a cd the same day
